AI-Enabled Leadership Programme: Graduate ERP Finance Consultant

Northallerton (hybrid)  |  Full-time, permanent  |  £36,000 – £39,000 + up to 5% bonus + ACCA/CIMA funding

The Opportunity

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join Finsys Apps on a structured, accelerated journey to becoming an AI-Enabled Finance & ERP Leader.

This is the functional, finance-facing pathway of our graduate programme. You will work alongside our senior consultants on live client projects — helping finance teams transform how they budget, report, reconcile, and close — and will take ownership of Business Central and Dynamics 365 finance modules as your expertise grows. In time, this role is designed to lead you towards running ERP implementations as a qualified accountant with deep functional system expertise.

Finance Transformation

Configure Business Central finance modules alongside qualified accountants and senior consultants.

ACCA or CIMA Funded

Full professional qualification funding including study leave, tuition, and exam costs.

Client Responsibility

Real client engagement from year one — not years of shadowing.

What You Will Do

From day one you will be embedded in real client work. Over the course of the programme your responsibilities will grow to include:

  • Gathering and documenting finance requirements from client stakeholders (CFOs, Financial Controllers, Finance Managers)
  • Configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance modules — general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and VAT
  • Mapping client finance processes and designing chart of accounts, dimensions, and reporting structures
  • Supporting data migration from legacy systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, and older ERPs
  • Running user training sessions and producing end-user documentation
  • Building management reports and dashboards using Power BI and Business Central’s native reporting
  • Applying AI tools (Copilot and our Finsys AI Lab & Delivery Framework™) to automate reconciliation, reporting, and month-end processes
  • Progressing towards leading implementation workstreams and, ultimately, full ERP engagements

What We Offer

This package is designed to deliver real value well beyond the base salary — a combination that would cost significantly more to assemble independently:

  • £36,000 – £39,000 base salary, reviewed annually against performance and progression
  • Performance bonus from 5% in year one, scaling to 20–25% as you grow into senior roles
  • Fully funded ACCA or CIMA qualification — tuition, exam fees, and paid study leave covered in full. This benefit alone is typically worth £10,000–£15,000 over the qualification period, and it is yours to keep
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800) certification, plus related finance and Power Platform pathways — fully funded
  • £2,000 relocation package for candidates moving to the area
  • Gym membership — fully covered
  • £300 birthday payment — paid on your birthday, every year
  • Real client responsibility from your first year — you will be configuring live systems and presenting to finance leaders, not spending years observing
  • Structured mentoring from qualified accountants and senior consultants with decades of combined ERP experience
  • Hybrid working from our Northallerton office with a flexible schedule

To put the total package in context: a year-one hire at the top of the salary band with a 5% bonus, gym membership, birthday payment, and the value of ACCA funding represents over £52,000 in combined first-year compensation and benefits — before factoring in the accelerated career progression that comes from early client responsibility.
