Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Enterprise Organisations

Large organisations operating Microsoft Dynamics 365 — or replacing legacy ERP systems with it — need an implementation partner with the depth of expertise to handle complex group structures, advanced integrations, and the scale of change management involved in an enterprise deployment. Finsys Apps delivers enterprise Dynamics 365 implementations without the overhead and commercial model of a large consultancy.

Replacing Legacy ERP, or Standardising a Complex Group on a Single Platform?

Enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 engagements typically fall into one of two categories: a legacy system replacement — moving off Dynamics NAV, Sage 200, SAP Business One, or a heavily customised older platform — or a group standardisation project, bringing multiple subsidiaries onto a single Dynamics 365 environment to unify reporting, controls, and IT infrastructure.

Both scenarios require a depth of Dynamics 365 expertise that goes well beyond standard implementation knowledge. Legacy data migration at scale, complex group financial structures with elimination logic, sophisticated AP automation and treasury integrations, advanced warehouse and manufacturing configurations, and the change management required to move a large user population onto a new system — these are all areas where the quality of the implementation partner determines whether the project succeeds.

Finsys Apps brings this depth without the commercial overhead of a large consultancy. You work directly with senior, experienced Dynamics 365 consultants — not a team of junior analysts supervised by someone you rarely see.

Group Architecture

Multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-country group structures — consolidated reporting and intercompany automation.

Deep Integration

Full integration ecosystem — Dataverse, Azure, Power BI, and custom API connections.

Change Management

Structured training, user adoption planning, and hypercare support for large user populations.

Enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Capabilities

Enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations require rigorous design before any configuration begins. Finsys Apps runs a structured discovery phase covering every functional area — finance, procurement, supply chain, warehouse, ecommerce, and reporting — to produce a detailed functional specification that drives the implementation. Nothing is configured from assumption.

Finance and Group Structure

  • Multi-entity group architecture with intercompany automation and group consolidation reporting
  • Multi-currency — foreign currency revaluation, translation differences, and reporting currency
  • Advanced dimension structures supporting P&L reporting by division, cost centre, project, and segment
  • Full AP — OCR, approval workflows, and touchless invoice processing at scale

  • Treasury and banking automation — for all banking entities and currencies

Operations, Supply Chain and Integration

  • Advanced warehouse management — multi-location, multi-bin

  • Manufacturing and production management — BOMs, routings, capacity planning, and shop floor data
  • Ecommerce integration

  • Power BI enterprise reporting — group-level dashboards, KPI scorecards, and board pack automation
  • Legacy data migration — full historical transaction import from legacy Dynamics, Sage, SAP, or bespoke systems

Why Enterprise Organisations Choose Finsys Apps

Enterprise team reviewing Business Central implementationThe established consultancies that handle enterprise ERP implementations are structured to maximise billing hours, not to minimise client cost or risk. Senior partners sell the engagement and junior consultants deliver it. Change management is an afterthought. Integrations are scoped separately and delivered by different teams. Post-go-live support is expensive and slow.

Finsys Apps approaches enterprise Dynamics 365 engagements differently. Senior consultants remain involved throughout the project, not just at the design phase. Integrations are designed and delivered as part of the core implementation rather than bolt-on work streams. Change management and training are planned from the start, not retrofitted after go-live. And post-go-live support is provided by the same team that implemented the system — the people who understand exactly how it was configured and why.

  • Senior consultant involvement throughout — not just at the design and sales phase
  • Integrations designed and delivered as part of the core project, not separate work streams
  • Structured change management and training programme for large user populations
  • Legacy data migration expertise — Dynamics, Sage, SAP, and bespoke system migrations

  • Post-go-live support delivered by the implementation team — continuity of knowledge

“I started Finsys Apps because I believed businesses deserved better — better implementations, better support, and better outcomes from their technology investment. Every client we work with gets my personal commitment to that standard.”

Frequently Asked Questions

SAP Business One to Dynamics 365 migration is Finsys Apps’ most common legacy migration engagement. Microsoft provides structured upgrade tooling to assist with the technical migration. The more important work is the data migration — ensuring historical transactions, open balances, customer and supplier records, items, and configuration data are extracted cleanly from Business One and imported correctly into Dynamics 365. Finsys Apps runs a rigorous data validation process throughout migration to ensure completeness and accuracy before go-live.

Yes. Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a cloud SaaS platform hosted on Microsoft Azure and scales automatically with user numbers and transaction volume. Microsoft’s infrastructure handles the compute scaling — there are no on-premise server sizing decisions to make and no infrastructure investment required as the business grows. At very high transaction volumes, Finsys Apps will review the implementation’s posting group structure and dimension configuration to ensure performance remains optimal.

Finsys Apps designs phased rollouts with a pilot entity first — typically the most complex or the group parent — followed by structured rollouts to remaining subsidiaries using the pilot entity as the configuration template. Each subsidiary receives its own go-live plan, data migration, and training programme. Intercompany configuration is tested between entities at each phase before the next rollout begins. This approach reduces risk significantly compared to a simultaneous all-entity cutover.
Enterprise clients receive a structured hypercare period immediately following go-live — typically four to six weeks — during which the implementation team is on-call for issue resolution and user support. Following hypercare, a managed support retainer provides ongoing access to the implementation team for questions, configuration changes, new user training, and system enhancements as the business evolves. Because the same team that implemented the system provides support, there is no knowledge gap or handover risk.
