Dynamics 365 Integration Services

Dynamics 365 is most powerful when it is connected. Finsys Apps designs, builds, and manages integrations between Dynamics 365 and your third-party systems — billing platforms, ecommerce stores, payroll engines, warehousing software, and beyond — eliminating data silos, removing manual re-keying, and giving every team a single, consistent view of the business.

The Cost of Disconnected Systems

Most businesses operate multiple systems that do not talk to each other — a CRM that does not know what the billing system has invoiced, an ERP that cannot see what the ecommerce platform has sold, a payroll system that receives headcount updates via a weekly spreadsheet. The result is duplicated data entry, reconciliation effort, delays in information reaching the people who need it, and a growing risk of errors and inconsistencies across systems that are each operating on their own version of the truth.

Integration does not mean replacing every system with Dynamics 365. It means connecting the systems you have — so that data flows accurately and automatically between them, each system knows what the others know, and your team can focus on decisions rather than data management. Finsys Apps has designed and delivered integrations across a wide range of third-party platforms, and we bring that experience to every engagement — knowing which integration patterns work, which introduce fragility, and how to build a connected environment that remains maintainable as your technology landscape evolves.

Integrations We Deliver

Billing & Subscription Management Systems

For businesses whose revenue model involves subscription billing, usage-based charging, or complex invoice generation — professional services, SaaS, utilities, financial services, and managed services — the integration between Dynamics 365 and the billing platform is frequently the most operationally critical data flow in the business. Finsys Apps integrates Dynamics 365 with billing platforms including Zuora, Chargebee, GoCardless, Stripe, and bespoke billing systems, ensuring that subscription events, usage data, invoice generation, and payment status flow accurately and automatically between your CRM or ERP and your billing engine.

Ecommerce Platforms

Connecting Dynamics 365 to your ecommerce platform — whether Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom-built storefront — eliminates the manual work of importing orders, updating stock levels, and reconciling customer records between your online store and your back-office system. We build integrations that synchronise products, inventory, orders, customers, and fulfilment status in real time, ensuring your ERP and your storefront are always aligned without manual intervention.

Payroll & HR Systems

For organisations using Dynamics 365 Human Resources or managing employee data in Business Central, integration with your payroll platform — Sage Payroll, ADP, Moorepay, Ceridian, or others — removes the duplication of maintaining employee records in multiple systems and eliminates the manual payroll input process. Finsys Apps integrates HR and payroll systems to synchronise employee master data, pay elements, cost centre allocations, and payroll outputs back into Dynamics 365 Finance for posting and reporting.

Banking & Open Banking Feeds

Automating bank statement import and transaction matching eliminates one of the most time-consuming reconciliation tasks in a finance team’s week. Finsys Apps integrates Dynamics 365 Finance and Business Central with banking data feeds — both traditional bank file formats and modern Open Banking APIs — automating transaction import, enabling automatic matching of payments to outstanding invoices, and reducing the time your finance team spends on bank reconciliation to a fraction of what manual processing requires.

Warehousing & Logistics

Manufacturers and distributors frequently operate specialist warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics platforms that need to exchange data with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or Business Central in real time. Finsys Apps integrates Dynamics 365 with WMS and logistics platforms, ensuring that stock movements, pick confirmations, goods receipts, and despatch events flow accurately between your operational and financial systems without manual intervention.

Custom & Bespoke System Integration

Many businesses operate systems that are unique to their industry or built specifically for their operation — bespoke CRMs, proprietary operational systems, industry-specific platforms. Where a standard connector does not exist, Finsys Apps builds custom integrations using the Dynamics 365 API, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, and our own integration framework — delivering robust, maintainable integrations that connect Dynamics 365 to any system capable of exposing or consuming data.

Our Integration Architecture Approach

The technical approach to integration matters as much as the functional outcome. A direct point-to-point integration between two systems is simple to build and simple to break — it creates a brittle dependency that is difficult to maintain as either system evolves. Finsys Apps designs integrations around proven architectural patterns that prioritise reliability, observability, and maintainability over the long term.

  • Microsoft Azure Integration Services — Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management provide the integration middleware for most enterprise integration work, offering a managed, scalable, and observable platform for data flows between Dynamics 365 and third-party systems
  • Dataverse connectors — for integrations with Power Platform-compatible systems, native Dataverse connector capabilities minimise custom code and maximise reliability
  • Power Automate — for lighter-weight integration requirements and workflow automation across systems, providing rapid deployment with low maintenance overhead
  • Custom middleware — where Azure services or standard connectors are not the right fit, we build bespoke integration middleware using established patterns for error handling, retry logic, and data transformation
  • Monitoring and alerting on every integration — data flow failures are surfaced to a dashboard and resolved proactively, not discovered days later during a reconciliation exercise

Why Businesses Choose Finsys Apps for Integration

Integration quality is difficult to evaluate during a sales process — the difference between a well-built integration and a fragile one only becomes apparent months later when a system update breaks a point-to-point connection, or when a data flow failure goes undetected for days. Finsys Apps builds integrations that are designed to last — with the monitoring, error handling, and documentation that makes them maintainable as your technology landscape evolves.

  • Deep Dynamics 365 platform knowledge — we understand the data model and API capabilities across the full suite
  • Proven integration architecture — reliable, maintainable, and observable, not fragile point-to-point connections
  • Experience across a wide range of third-party platforms — billing systems, ecommerce, payroll, WMS, banking feeds, and bespoke systems
  • Full lifecycle ownership — from design through build, testing, go-live, and ongoing monitoring
  • Integration support included in our support plans — data flow failures treated with the same urgency as application issues
  • Azure-native capability — Microsoft Azure certifications alongside Dynamics 365 certifications

“I started Finsys Apps because I believed businesses deserved better — better implementations, better support, and better outcomes from their technology investment. Every client we work with gets my personal commitment to that standard.”

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on how the system exposes or accepts data. Many legacy systems without a formal API can be integrated via file-based exchanges — structured data files on a scheduled basis — or via database-level integration where direct data access is available. We assess the options during the integration design phase and recommend the approach that provides the best balance of reliability and maintainability given the constraints of both systems.
Every Finsys Apps integration includes defined error handling — what happens when a data record fails to transfer, how failures are logged, who is alerted, and what the remediation process is. We configure monitoring and alerting on all integration flows, and failed transactions are surfaced to a dashboard rather than silently discarded. As part of our support service, we monitor integration health and investigate alerts proactively.
Yes, subject to an initial assessment of the integration’s architecture and documentation. We review the technical design, identify any reliability or maintainability concerns, and produce a report before taking on support responsibility. Where the existing integration has significant structural issues, we will advise on a remediation programme alongside day-to-day support.
A single, well-defined integration between two systems with accessible APIs typically takes 4–8 weeks from design to go-live, including testing. More complex integrations — involving multiple systems, high data volumes, complex transformation logic, or systems with limited API capability — are scoped individually. Multi-integration programmes delivered alongside an implementation are planned as part of the overall implementation timeline.
