Every Finsys Apps implementation follows a structured, transparent process built on Microsoft’s Sure Step methodology — adapted to reflect the specific needs of each client and the scale of each project. Our approach is milestone-driven, with clear deliverables at each stage and regular checkpoints that keep you informed and in control throughout.

1. Discovery & Requirements

We begin with a structured discovery engagement — working with your key stakeholders to understand your current processes, your system requirements, and the business outcomes you need the implementation to deliver. We document requirements in detail, identify gaps between your current state and Dynamics 365 out of the box, and produce a functional specification that forms the basis of the project plan, fixed-price proposal, and go-live acceptance criteria.

2. Solution Design

Our consultants design the solution architecture — defining the configuration, customisations, integrations, and data migration approach. We produce a detailed design document that maps every requirement to a specific element of the solution, giving you complete visibility of what will be built before a single line of configuration work begins.

3. Build & Configuration

Our certified consultants build your solution in a dedicated development environment — configuring the system, applying customisations, building integrations, and preparing data migration routines. You have access to a test environment throughout so your team can review progress and provide feedback before the final user acceptance testing phase.

4. Data Migration

Data migration is consistently the highest-risk element of any implementation. We manage the entire process — defining the migration scope, mapping data from your source systems, cleansing and transforming records, running parallel migration trials, and executing the final cutover migration with validation checks that confirm completeness and accuracy before go-live.

5. Testing & User Acceptance

Every component is tested systematically — functional testing against the requirements specification, integration testing, performance testing, and structured user acceptance testing with your key users. Issues identified during testing are resolved before go-live; we do not consider a project ready to launch until your team has confirmed the system meets the agreed requirements.

6. Go-Live & Hypercare

On go-live day, Finsys Apps consultants are on-site or on-call to support your team through the transition. We operate a hypercare period in the days immediately following go-live, with heightened support availability and rapid response to any issues that arise as users begin working in the live system.
