External-Facing Portals, Connected to Your Systems

Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals) is Microsoft’s low-code platform for building secure, data-driven websites for external audiences. Unlike standard website builders, Power Pages sites are connected directly to your Microsoft Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data — meaning your customers can log in, view their account, raise cases, submit forms, check order status, and complete registrations in a self-service environment that updates your systems in real time.

The result is fewer inbound calls and emails for your team, faster resolution for your customers and partners, and a professional digital experience that reflects the quality of your business.

Live Data

External users interact with your real Dynamics 365 data in real time — no syncing, no delays.

Enterprise Security

Azure AD B2C authentication, table-level permissions, and row-level data security throughout.

Fully Branded

Fully customisable design — branded to your identity with no Microsoft branding visible to users.

Customer, Partner & Supplier Portals

Power Pages supports a wide range of portal scenarios. Finsys Apps specialises in designing and implementing portals that are genuinely useful to the people who access them — not just technically functional. We start by understanding who your external users are, what they currently have to call or email you about, and what they need to be able to do themselves. The portal is then built to meet those needs precisely.

Common portals we build

  • Customer self-service portals — account management, order tracking, invoice download, and case submission
  • Partner portals — deal registration, resource libraries, and performance dashboards
  • Supplier portals — onboarding, document submission, and purchase order acknowledgement
  • Event and training registration portals connected to Dynamics 365 Marketing
  • Job application and recruitment portals integrated with HR systems
  • Community and knowledge base portals for customer support deflection

AI-Powered Site Design & Intelligent Forms

Person reviewing portal designCopilot in Power Pages allows you to generate entire page layouts and site structures from a natural language description — dramatically accelerating the initial design phase. For Finsys Apps clients, this means getting to a working prototype far faster, with more time available for refinement and content quality.

Power Pages also supports intelligent forms with conditional logic, multi-step processes, and document upload capabilities — enabling sophisticated data collection workflows without any custom code. Combined with Power Automate, form submissions can trigger downstream workflows in Dynamics 365 automatically.

  • Copilot-assisted site generation from natural language descriptions
  • Intelligent multi-step forms with conditional logic and document upload
  • Automatic Dynamics 365 record creation from portal form submissions
  • Power Virtual Agents chatbot integration for portal visitor support

Why Businesses Choose Finsys Apps for Power Pages

Power Pages portals sit at the intersection of your internal systems and your external relationships. Getting the security model right is critical — a misconfigured portal can expose data it should not. Finsys Apps brings deep expertise in the Dataverse security model underlying Power Pages, ensuring your portal gives users exactly the access they need, and nothing more.

We design portals with the user experience first — not just the technical connection to Dynamics 365. A portal your customers actually enjoy using drives adoption. A confusing one gets abandoned and calls start coming in again.

  • Deep Dataverse security expertise — your data stays exactly as protected as it should be
  • User experience design centred on your external users — not just the technical connection
  • Integrated with your full Dynamics 365 environment from day one
  • Performance optimised for fast load times and mobile responsiveness
  • Ongoing support and enhancement as your portal evolves

“I started Finsys Apps because I believed businesses deserved better — better implementations, better support, and better outcomes from their technology investment. Every client we work with gets my personal commitment to that standard.”

Frequently Asked Questions

A standard website is a one-way channel — it presents information to visitors. Power Pages is a two-way, data-driven web portal where authenticated users can interact with your live Dynamics 365 data — submitting forms that create CRM records, viewing their account information, tracking cases and orders, and completing transactions. It requires a Microsoft licence rather than a web hosting subscription, and Finsys Apps designs and builds it as part of your Dynamics 365 ecosystem rather than as a standalone web project.
Power Pages uses the Microsoft Dataverse security model — table permissions, column-level permissions, and web roles — to control access precisely. A customer logging into your portal sees only their own records. A partner sees the records relevant to their account. An administrator sees everything. Finsys Apps designs the security model before building any portal, ensuring the data access controls are correct from the start.
Yes. Power Pages supports external authentication including Azure AD B2C, which allows you to create a branded login experience for external users who do not have Microsoft accounts. You can also enable local authentication with your own username and password setup, or federate with identity providers such as Google, LinkedIn, or your own identity system. Finsys Apps configures the right authentication approach for your audience.
Yes. Microsoft rebranded Power Apps Portals as Power Pages in 2022. The underlying platform is the same, and existing Power Apps Portals deployments continue to function and can be migrated to the Power Pages experience. If you have an existing portal, Finsys Apps can review it and advise on modernisation or enhancement options.
