About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Accountant to join our growing finance and systems team. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who enjoys working across both accounting and technology, and who is keen to play a functional lead role in finance transformation initiatives.

While prior systems implementation experience is not essential, an interest and aptitude for financial systems and process improvement is key. You will work on a mix of client-facing and internal projects, collaborating closely with colleagues across locations, including our offshore team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional finance lead on finance transformation projects and financial system implementations

  • Work on both client-facing and internal accounting projects

  • Collaborate effectively with our offshore delivery team

  • Support the migration of data from legacy finance systems into target platforms

  • Design and define financial reporting structures, chart of accounts, and management reports

  • Assist in improving and standardising finance processes and system usage

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand accounting, reporting, and system requirements

  • Support testing, validation, and user adoption during system implementations

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant: CPA, CIMA, CA, or ACCA

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles

  • Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and geographies
